Business Analyst

Hybrid in office 3 days a week in Minneapolis MN

U.S. Bank is looking for a motivated Senior Business Systems Analyst with experience in liaison and relationship management to support our technology initiatives. The role involves defining requirements and functional architecture, participating in testing, training, and application implementation. The Analyst will assist the business line with requirements and collaborate with the application development team to create a functional architecture. The position requires maintaining detailed knowledge of the business's current technology and infrastructure from a functional perspective and providing guidance on the business implications of development projects.

As a consultant to internal business groups, the Analyst will contribute to process improvement projects aimed at enhancing business results. Responsibilities include training and implementing applications, partnering with business stakeholders to identify and document business needs, and leading efforts to investigate, analyze, and resolve application problems related to system functions. The Analyst will often serve as the first point of contact for user support and problem‑solving and may manage routine projects.

The role involves frequent interaction with business lines, including management and internal resources, to ensure the quality, timeliness, and testing of all project/release work. The Analyst will work with technology and application development teams to design or select solutions that meet business needs for large projects. They will review and validate test plan approaches for proper functionality coverage and may coordinate and execute test plans, seeking opportunities to improve the testing process.

Experience with the Service Now ecosystem is a plus but not required.
