Vivian Concierge is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Float Med Surg for a nursing job in Hopewell, Virginia.

As part of our team and as CRP Nurse, you will float throughout the facility to all of the nursing units within your scope of practice, to include some or all of the following:
Intensive Care/ICU, Emergency Room (ER), Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Step-Down, Behavioral Health and Outpatient Surgery.
- You will be responsible for the clinical management of the patient while assuring satisfaction of our customers (patients, visitors, physicians and other staff members.)
- You will participate in and understand Quality Management activities while promoting cost effective unit operations.
- A key responsibility for you will be documenting nursing care in Meditech.
- Members of our team actively participate in the orientation of new personnel, and have willingness to identify or assume activities relative to the developmental needs of unit and the nursing department.
- Current RN Virginia license or has a compact multistate license
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- At least two years of previous nursing experience in an acute care facility required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
