Overview

Job PurposeSupport the pharmacy team in ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, delivering high‑quality patient care, and maintaining operational excellence within the store.
Responsibilities- Follow all company SOPs at each workstation.
- Execute pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation (production, pick‑up, drive‑thru, drop‑off).
- Provide empathetic patient service: highlight immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, resolve or elevate patient issues.
- Complete inventory activities such as restocking, cycle counts, returns‑to‑stocks, and bin inventories.
- Maintain a high‑performing, inclusive team culture; accept feedback and seek growth.
- Adapt to scheduling, travel to stores as needed.
- Comply with federal, state and local regulations, CVS policies, controlled‑substance handling and privacy laws.
- Deliver additional services (immunizations, testing, off‑site clinics) as authorized by state law.
- Reach Technician Immunizer status through required state training and licensing.
- Explain vaccine benefits and direct patients to pharmacists for questions.
- Monitor adverse reactions and report per public health requirements.
- Track and document vaccine supply and patient information.
- State board of pharmacy requirements: at minimum 16 years, high school diploma or equivalent; state licensure or national certification as required.
- Ability to complete training in designated timeframe.
- Strong focus, attention to detail, multitasking skills.
- Customer‑service oriented with effective oral and written communication.
- Basic math skills for prescription calculations.
- Problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to resolve conflicts.
- Physical capability for lifting up to 20 lbs and repeated manual tasks.
- 1‑3 years Pharmacy Technician experience.
- Experience in retail, medical, or customer service.
- Geographic flexibility across market stores.
- Full‑time, 40 hours per week, anticipated weekly hours 40.
- Pay range $16.50 – $25.00 hourly (base).
