Position: SOCIAL SERVICES COORDINATOR

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, business, public administration, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in human services programs or public service.
  • Background check and child/adult maltreatment registry check.
  • Additional job-related education and experience may substitute for basic requirements upon approval of the Qualifications Review Committee.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversee case assignments and workload distribution among social services staff.
  • Ensure programs comply with state and federal guidelines.
  • Develop partnerships with community resources and service providers.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Provide training and support to frontline social workers.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple cases and projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Case management and service coordination.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
  • Knowledge of Arkansas social service laws, policies, and regulations.
  • Intermediate data management, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and cultural competency.
  • Understanding of behavioral health and protective services.
