** Security Officer - Patrol Driver

** HOPE, AR** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a driving, unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control at entrances and/or gates, observe activity, document findings, and communicate clearly with team members and site staff.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities in a food and beverage production location.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.

+ Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and follow check-in and check-out procedures for employees, contractors, and deliveries as required by site policy.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarms, disputes, medical situations, and/or evacuation activities per post orders.

+ Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate significant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
