Maintenance Generalist MGU, First Processing 2nd Shift - Hope, AR

Job Details

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Maintenance Generalist must possess a minimum of 6 months of mechanic work/experience and/or education documented.
• Maintenance Scale Tech must possess a minimum of 6 months of electronic maintenance work/experience and/or education documented.
• 6 months of verifiable maintenance experience and/or education.
• Must have basic computer knowledge/skills.
• Knowledge and ability to work with 480 volt 3 phase electricity.
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical automated process control system, PLC operations, inverters, and basic electricity.
• Must possess mechanical skills.
• Must perform PM task on equipment daily and weekly.
• Must perform troubleshooting activities daily.
• Must be proactive in reducing downtime on all mechanical equipment.
• Ability to weld using appropriate tools accordingly.
• Must be willing to travel for advanced training classes.
• Must have good troubleshooting skills.
• Must be dependable and responsible.
• Must be Safety Oriented (learning and following core safety mandates).
• Must be willing to work 5-6 days a week with overtime.
• Must be willing to stoop, bend, climb ladders and work overhead.
• Must be flexible to work in cold and/or hot temperatures.
• Must be cooperative and follow instruction carefully.
• Must be willing to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay based on experience/skill. Range $21.35/hr to $29.95/hr.

2nd Shift.
