SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER is accepting applications for an RN position in the ICU. Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired outcomes.

• Safely performs IV therapy.
• Accurately follows policies in patient care, including blood administration, specimen labeling, and patient identification.

• Graduate of a certified RN program.
• Previous experience preferred but not required.
• Licenses and certificates:
• License to practice in Arkansas.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS and PALS certification or obtained within the introductory period.
• Current TNCC certification or obtained within two years of hire.
• Current CPI certification within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements:
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, and kneel.
• Must possess visual acuity.
