As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Hope Mills, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols and respond to security-related concerns while staying highly visible and service focused. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under AU driver policy requirements, so you will use a vehicle to cover larger areas, check for irregular activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and guests.

• Provide customer service to store associates, shoppers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to management and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property loss.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, observe for unusual conditions, and support crowd management and/or line control during peak shopping periods.
• Complete detailed written reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
