Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

The freezer, cooler, and deli stocker supports operations and sanitary conditions of our freezers, coolers, and deli areas. You will help keep shelves stocked, assist customers, and contribute to a clean, safe, and organized shopping environment in the deli department as part of the Sam’s Club fresh foods team.

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety checks, properly handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Maintain the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by stocking merchandise, setting up displays, cleaning, removing damaged goods, pricing, and completing required documentation.
• Provide Member service by acknowledging Members, identifying needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Follow company policies related to the Freezer/Cooler area, including food handling policies, equipment maintenance, and cleaning procedures; monitor equipment and report issues.

• Ensure high-quality products are available and properly handled for Members.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work areas and proper temperature control; verify expiration dates and dispose of substandard items.
• Packing ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stocking displays.
• Adhere to Cold Chain procedures when stocking merchandise.

Minimum qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with stocking and customer service is helpful
• Ability to adapt to changing work scenarios and think creatively to drive improvements
