Location:
Birmingham, AL
Salary: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00
Responsibilities- Greets and identifies patients using two-patient identifiers.
- Performs venipuncture and collects specimens with very few errors using a variety of laboratory collection tools and methods.
- Properly identifies and labels all specimens in accordance with established laboratory guidelines.
- Processes all specimens in an efficient and timely manner.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in phlebotomy or a related field required.
- Certified Lab Assistant, Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technologist preferred, but not required.
