Responsibilities- As the Project Accountant, will be instrumental in financial operations. Primary responsibilities will involve managing client billing, with some exposure to government-related accounting tasks.
- Accurately process all accounts payable, including vendor invoice calculations and maintaining organized files.
- Efficiently handle accounts receivable by generating client invoices.
- Support the team with various other financial projects as needed.
- 5 years of experience in an Architectural, Engineering, or General Contractor Firm (strongly preferred).
- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant accounting software; familiarity with Sage software is a big plus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to working effectively with diverse colleagues in a dynamic and occasionally demanding environment.
- The ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, sound judgment, and discretion.
