CDL A Company Driver

SME Logistics LLC is a subsidiary of SME Industries Inc. We are hiring experienced dedicated flatbed truck drivers to haul fabricated steel from our facilities in West Jordan, Utah;
Pocatello, Idaho;
Henderson, NV;
El Mirage, Arizona; and Phoenix, AZ to construction sites in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. Drivers will also bring back‑haul loads to customer sites near our Arizona and Utah terminals. We prefer candidates who live near our delivery routes for a healthy work‑life balance.

Full‑time

• Starting pay: .63 CPM (Practical Miles Loaded and Empty). At 6 months – .65 CPM, at 12 months – .68 CPM, at 3 years – .69 CPM, at 5 years – .70 CPM.
• Extra Pay – Tarping back‑haul loads: $50.00 per tarp per load.
• Starting hourly pay: $25.00 in Utah, $28.00 in Arizona (accelerating hourly pay scale based on years of service) for loads under 100 miles plus mileage pay.
• $100.00 for a clean safety inspection.

• CDL Class A.
• Minimum 2‑year CMV tractor‑trailer experience (flatbed preferred).
• No more than 2 moving violations in 12 months.
• No speeding 15 MPH or more in 3 years.
• No rollovers or abandonment.
