- Department: After School Club Assistant
- Location: Hook Infant School – Hook
- Compensation: £11.10 – £12.25 / hour
- Schedule: Part‑time, term time only, Monday to Friday, 2:50‑6:00 pm
As an After School Club Assistant, you will actively and enthusiastically assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the After School Club. Following direction from the Manager, you will help deliver the scheduled programme of activities, provide a safe environment, and encourage children to explore, grow, and have FUN!
Key Responsibilities- Actively and enthusiastically assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the After School Club at Hook Infant School in Hook, Hampshire (RG27)
- Help set up, organise and deliver a range of activities daily and pro‑actively encourage children to participate
- Assist in the preparation, serving and tidying away of ‘snack time’
- Have awareness of, and maintain sensitivity for, any children with additional needsಜೆ (Physical, Behaviour, Dietary)
- Develop strong relationships with all children at the After School Club ensuring every child has as much FUN at the club as possible
- Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Of Verfahren standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding
- Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day
- You will have raya passion / interest in working within a childcare, early years or playwork setting

- Be reliable and able to effectively communicate with colleagues and children alike
- Be able to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 11 years

- Full training and inductions will be provided to all After School Club Assistants
This role would suit someone with experience of working in a Primary School, Pre‑School or Nursery—e.g., a Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator or Nursery Assistant—or someone looking to move into the childcare industry.
