We are looking for a highly-skilled microbiologist for a large biotech firm in Hoofddorp. As Specialist, you ensure that the laboratory work can be executed without any delays. Read on below and apply today if this suits your experience!

As Specialist, you ensure that the QC Microbiology laboratory can do the analyses in a timely and compliant way. This makes your job very diverse. You do hands‑on calibration and basic maintenance of equipment, train staff, and spend a large part of your time on documentation. You write and review SOPs and are involved with any new equipment introduction, from the Validation Master Plan (VMP), User Requirement Specification (URS) and the qualification of new equipment (IQ, OQ, and PQ).

As Specialist, you are also in contact with the data integrity team to ensure the software parts of the lab are operating as intended and the maintenance team for more complex maintenance. During audits, you act as an SME to answer questions from auditors or regulatory instances. In your role, you also have the chance to represent the QC Microbiology team in internal meetings.

• A relevant degree in microbiology
• MLO4 to MSc are all welcome to apply as long as you have the relevant experience

• Initial contract for a year, extension possible
• Work during office hours, no shifts
• Fulltime position, 40 hours per week
