JOB SUMMARY
The Residence Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of a skilled nursing facility, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care and support. This position requires a strong understanding of critical care practices, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The Residence Manager will work closely with healthcare professionals to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all residents.
REQUIREMENTS- Current, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing, long‑term care, or similar healthcare setting.
- Must lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Supervise and support CNAs and other nursing staff in the delivery of daily care.
- Provide training, guidance, and feedback to staff to ensure adherence to care standards and policies.
- Assist in performance evaluations and corrective actions when necessary.
- Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and care interventions in the medical record.
- Develop, update, and monitor individualized resident care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations, including infection control and safety protocols.
- Ensure care plans reflect the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
- Conduct routine assessments and communicate changes in condition to the physician and appropriate staff.
- Act as the primary point of contact for families regarding resident care updates and advocate for residents' rights and quality of life, ensuring dignity, respect, and safety.
- Prepare for and participate in state surveys, audits, and quality assurance activities.
- Facilitate care conferences with residents and families.
- Up to 40 hours per week; average 30‑40 hours.
$39.00 - $56.00 per hour
