The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt, accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triage patient orders and maintain the integrity of the Pyxis Profile System.

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician upon hire
• Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire

• Coursework/Training Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program
• Inpatient experience
• Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR)
