Position Summary

Our Crew Members are part of the teams responsible for various departments, everything from pulling & prepping inventory at our warehouse to setting up events at venues all over the island. Our Crew Members often float between departments both at our warehouse and out in the field. You must be willing to take on a wide variety of tasks, which may include organization & maintenance of inventory, receiving/cleaning/sorting/storing equipment, loading/offloading of trucks heading to and coming back from events, travelling with your crew in our trucks to job sites to deliver and set up our event products in a timely & professional manner and in line with our customer expectations/satisfaction.

It can be physically demanding, carrying and setting up tents, tables, chairs, dance floors and more when you are out in the field. Must be able to lift 40+ pounds

Essential Functions

Embody and lead teams in accordance with Accel’s Core Values, as described below.

Ensure Accel inventory is treated with the highest degree of care, organization cleanliness and tidiness when loading/unloading, at customer sites and at the warehouse.

Pull and prepare upcoming orders, bundling and protecting in accordance with SOPs, health and safety standards.

Ensure our products are loaded on the trucks correctly & in the directed manner, ahead of time, safely and accurately.

Restock, clean, event-ready inventory in warehouse per SOPs, ensuring Accel inventory is treated with the highest degree of care, safety, and cleanliness.

Make use of personal protection equipment for your personal safety.

Maintain proactive and effective communication with other Crew Members, Supervisors, and Managers, to ensure customer satisfaction is exceeded at all times.

Problem solve issues with your teammates and seek advice from Supervisors & Managers

Assist in general warehouse and truck cleanup, organization and maintenance of inventory.

Experience Required

Able to demonstrate clear communication, multi-tasking and execution of complex instructions under tight deadlines.
Able to demonstrate diligence and proactive results & driven work ethic.

Requirements

Must be able to lift/carry at least 50 lbs. Please let Accel know of any physical limitations.
Reliable transportation.

Education: High School diploma or GED or equivalent

License: State of Hawaii I.D.

Certifications requirements: None

Communication Skills Required

Written/verbal communication skills
Must have a smart phone with the ability to download and use applications
Ability to use Accel company mobile application.

Work Environment

This is an hourly on-call position.
This routinely operates in outdoor environments.
This position routinely operates vehicles and warehouse equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
