Courier​/Swing Drvr​/DOT

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages; checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex service features; provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; performs related customer service functions; and performs other duties as assigned.

High school diploma/GED.

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record as outlined in policy. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Must be 21 years old and have a clean driving history.

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range represents the estimated starting salary for the lowest level and the highest level within the job family. Actual starting pay is determined by experience relative to the job, market level, location pay, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Full time M-F, 6:30 am‑8:30 pm, peak Saturday. Pay $28.58/hr.
