• Hourly Pay: $29.18 per hour
• Sign-on Bonus: $2,500
• Tool Box Incentive: $300 yearly allowance
• Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE certification obtained (up to $700)
• Quarterly Bonus: up to $500 per quarter
• Yearly Tool Allowance: $300
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday; weekends off
• Hours:
  
  First Shift 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certification or post-secondary degree preferred
• Basic tools required
• Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including:
  • Routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, brake and tire work)
• Two or more years of classroom training and/or work experience; required experience preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A preferred

• Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check (last 3 years)

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Conduct standard vehicle maintenance and component inspections
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic tools
• Identify root causes and perform repairs as required; replace defective components
• Perform facility maintenance duties and interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of the issue
• Utilize Shop Management System and electronic documentation
• Comply with safety, DOT, MOT, and corporate guidelines
• Provide other support duties as needed to assist operations
