This position is full-time and will work at Wilder Vista (54 units) and Artesian Vista (53 units) in Honolulu, HI. These are RHTF and LIHTC properties. Qualified candidates have 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience with knowledge in plumbing, electrical and general maintenance. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and a clean driving record are required. Basic computer skills are required;
Yardi Voyager is a plus. Salary range: $22.80 - $34.20 per hour. Hiring range for new employees is generally $22.80 - $28.50 per hour, DOE. An offer will consider experience and current salary levels at EAH in similar roles.
- All facets of lock and key replacement/repair, including weather stripping, door and window functioning and locks
- Interior repairs related to walls and doors
- Electrical repairs including fixtures, lights, plugs and switches
- Change AC filters, check coils, clean and repair when necessary
- Perform annual unit inspections
- Ensure turnover of units within 5 days
- 2+ years of related apartment maintenance experience
- Knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
- Valid CDL, clean DMV record and reliable transportation
- HVAC certification (preferred)
EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks on all candidates who have received a conditional job offer. You will be required to submit to and pass our background check requirements. We may verify education and employment history, and certain roles may require fingerprinting. If onsite housing is required, household members over 18 must also undergo background checks and tenant screening. Satisfactory completion of background checks is a requirement of employment.
EAH Housing requires all candidates with a conditional job offer to submit to drug testing within 72 hours of acceptance. We do not test for marijuana/cannabis. Satisfactory completion of drug testing is a requirement of employment.
