You will conduct routine rounds, watch for unusual activity, document and report security-related concerns, and assist with directions and customer service. You will communicate clearly with staff and partners, bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset while working with a caring, people-first team that acts with integrity.

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of academic buildings, classrooms, residence life areas as assigned, and surrounding grounds to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and suspicious activity, and request additional assistance when needed.
• Monitor access points and campus activity, assist with directions and general questions, and report unauthorized access, loitering, and/or policy violations per site instructions.
• Complete detailed shift activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and support crowd and traffic flow during campus events and peak periods.

• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
