Security Officer - Part-Time Roving Patrol –
Honolulu, HI

As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as commercial real estate. You will conduct routine patrols of buildings and grounds, maintain a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents, and assist tenants and visitors with courteous customer service. • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific post orders, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills, including documenting observations and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observed traffic flow as assigned, assisting with visitor management, after‑hours entry verification, and directing individuals to proper points of contact.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicating security‑related concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in compliance with applicable laws.
• Drug screening required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
