Field Sales Representative

Overview

Hawaiian Telcom is seeking driven, outgoing Field Sales Representatives to join our Field Sales team. This is a commission-based pay position with a base salary plus uncapped commission potential (base $40,000, potential to earn over $90,000/year) and a $2,500 training bonus upon completion of the 30-day training program. The role involves meeting potential customers in neighborhoods, educating them on fiber internet services, and helping them switch to faster internet.

This field-based, door-to-door position is ideal for self-starters who enjoy being outdoors, talking with people, and earning uncapped commissions.

• Assess customer needs and provide optimal communication solutions from our product and service line to meet those needs.
• Develop thorough knowledge of features and benefits of all services and products, including bundles and promotions.
• Understand promotional offers and geographic areas of concentration.
• Understand the systems that support and qualify customers for our products and services.
• Achieve sales, service, and productivity metrics.
• Provide consistent, documented customer sales and follow-up.
• Demonstrate effective application of training received.
• Conduct door-to-door sales within assigned neighborhoods or territories.
• Present and promote fiber internet, TV, and voice products to residential customers.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  1–2 years in door-to-door or outside field sales preferred.
• Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  Superior listening, consultative selling, needs assessment, problem-solving, and integrative thinking.
• Miscellaneous:
  Evening and weekend work required; exempt position; valid driver’s license and access to reliable personal vehicle; strong organizational and time-management skills; door-to-door sales to qualified leads.

Base Salary Range: $40,000.00-$42,000.00 (plus uncapped commissions)
