This is a full‑time position at Macy's located at the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role requires a passion for beauty, strong customer service, and a strong background with the Bobbi Brown brand.
Base Pay Range$18.98 per hour – $29.33 per hour
Job OverviewAs a Beauty Brand Expert at Macy’s, you are the go‑to authority for your assigned brand, promoting sales and elevated customer experience. You will serve as a product educator and beauty enthusiast, creating personalized routines, demonstrating trends, and helping customers look and feel their best. You’ll also coach fellow Beauty Advisors, lead by example through exceptional service, build relationships through clienteling, and execute brand strategies, events, and training in collaboration with store leadership and vendor partners.

- Greet customers and colleagues and set a positive tone for the day.
- Review sales goals, new launches, and current trends at the start of your shift.
- Maintain a clean and shop‑able space, including tester selection, signage, and displays.
- Support your team to finish strong—share loyalty benefits, ensure customers leave satisfied, and thank them personally.
- Model collaboration and customer‑first service across the team.
- Continuously improve with effort, knowledge, and teamwork to meet sales goals.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized consultations and expert product knowledge.
- Build lasting relationships with clients and drive development through outreach and follow‑up.
- Analyze business performance and create strategies to grow results.
- Plan and execute in‑store and vendor‑led events to drive traffic.
- Maintain brand standards through merchandising, hygiene, and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with vendors, personal stylists, and store leadership.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Stay informed on new launches and beauty trends to support team education.
- Manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and a passion for the beauty industry.
- Acquire new customers through credit accounts and loyalty benefits.
- 3–5 years of relevant retail, beauty, or leadership experience preferred.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to:
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
Physical Requirements You Will Perform
- Talk, lift, constantly move, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Stand for at least two consecutive hours, lift at least 25 lbs, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach above eye level.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash register operations.
