Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associates are an essential part of CVS Health’s effort to bring engaged, personalized, and convenient services to every customer. In this role you will provide high‑quality customer service, support pharmacy and other departments, and help keep the store running smoothly both independently and as part of a team.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, showing compassion, and actively resolving issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and offer assistance in locating items.
• Perform cashier duties: handle cash, checks, and card transactions accurately and follow company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor through restocking, vendor check‑ins, pricing updates, and inventory tasks assigned by the manager.
• Support opening and closing activities as needed.
• Assist all departments (photo, beauty, etc.) ensuring they remain stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel on regular shifts, providing opportunities for growth and career development.
• Promote new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our mission of improving health.

• Remain standing for extended periods.
• Lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and light weight regularly.
• Have sufficient visual acuity to view screens, read, and inspect small details.

• Previous experience in retail or customer service.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).

• Annual full‑time salary range: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour.
• Expected weekly hours: 40 hours.
