Role

Retail Display Installer – Technology – 2020 Companies

2020 Companies seeks a reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Field Service Representative to join our team and represent leading brands like Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. In this role, you’ll execute a wide range of in-store tasks.

  • Installing and updating sales floor fixtures and endcaps
  • Performing buildouts, resets, and display repairs
  • Following planograms and client-specific directives

Location: Travel up to 90 miles from home on average; paid drive time & mileage reimbursement

Schedule: Work Monday–Friday; weekends are not required

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond and maintain consistent communication with field services management (within 24 hours of contact).
  • Keep availability updated and accurate.
  • Fully complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixturing.
  • Complete forms, images, surveys associated with each job before leaving the site.
  • Maintain and update displays according to planograms/client requests.
  • Conduct break-fix repairs to ensure displays/fixtures are functional.
  • Participate in early-morning installations and team installations; provide solution feedback.
  • Manage virtual software and ensure timely execution of related tasks.
  • Assist other team members as needed and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Complete training and certification programs; track and communicate activity via designated systems/workflows.
  • Available for weekend assignments as needed.
Scheduling / Planning
  • Your hours and locations may vary week to week, including occasional weekends; some early morning hours and holidays may be required based on store/client requirements.
  • Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt.
Project Execution
  • Follow all directives provided, executing tasks fully and completely.
  • Collaborate with the shared services team to identify opportunities for improvement and drive operational efficiency.
Relationship Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the shared services team, clients, retailers, and other stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration and communication with internal teams, clients, retailers, and field representatives.
Leadership & Cross-functional Work
  • Demonstrate professionalism and strong communication and leadership abilities while representing the company.
  • Maintain a positive work environment and ensure transparent, respectful communication.
  • Work across all aspects of the company to ensure alignment and operational success.
Customer & Client Satisfaction
  • Ensure customer and client satisfaction is met and continually improved according to KPIs set by field management.
  • Be open to providing and receiving feedback.
Qualifications
  • Age / Eligibility: Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Availability: Flexible availability Monday through Friday; weekend/holiday availability as needed; early morning and late-night availability as needed.
  • Physical Abilities: Climb a ladder up to 10 feet; lift and carry up to 60 lbs; bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing tasks and work environments.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication; use of a smartphone to clock in/out, upload photos, and access applications.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; retail/merchandising experience beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Experience Preferred: Installation and merchandising experience; ability to follow planogram directives.
  • Technology: Must own an Android or Apple mobile device; capable of navigating various platforms independently.
  • Training: Must complete training assignments within designated time frames and work both collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Transportation and Travel: Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance; willingness to travel up to 90 miles from home per assignment.
