* YOU WILL BE:

****** The Restaurant Host serves Neiman Marcus customers in a warm, accommodating, and professional manner by greeting and seating customers.
*****
* WHAT YOU WILL DO:

****
* ** Maintains presence at host stand / door to professionally and graciously greet and seat customers**
* ** Monitors server performance to ensure smooth service during the customers’ dining experience**
* ** Observes proper telephone etiquette**
* ** Handles reservations through Open Table platform (including VIPs) and any additional inquiries regarding hours of operation, specials, events, etc.**
* ** Organizes reservations, maximizes seating during operating hours, and optimizes staffing and customer traffic**
* ** Adheres to established accounting procedures for all transactions, including all authorized methods of payment and maintains knowledge of the POS system**
* ** Keeps flow of service to standards (e.g., proper seating of customers to each wait station)**
* ** Participates in daily pre-shift meetings**
* ** Fulfills duties that may involve lifting objects (e.g., tables, chairs, highchairs, etc.)**
* ** Maintains cleanliness and presentability of all menus and menu covers**
* ** Maintains the highest level of hygiene standards to include, but not limited to:**
* ** Clean, pressed uniform jacket and accompanying clothing and shoes**
* ** Clean and professionally styled hair and nails, maintained to avoid food contamination risks**
* ** Adheres to posted work schedule and follows established procedures for schedule and shift changes
****** WHAT YOU WILL BRING:****
* ** High School diploma or GED preferred**
* ** Knowledge of Open Table platform**
* ** Excellent oral and written communication skills**
* ** Ability to work autonomously**
* ** Motivated and results-driven**
* ** Ability to interact graciously with the public and handle multiple duties at the same time**
* ** Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills*** **"Win together" mentality**
* ** Role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying 35 pounds**
* ** Associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
