• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days (07:15 AM – 07:45 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890 per week

• At least 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D nurse / OB nurse)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Hawaii or ability to obtain Hawaii RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Preferred:
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or related degree
• Preferred: 5+ years recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Preferred: 1 year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last 2 years and High Risk OB experience
• Preferred:
  Previous travel nursing experience and comfort working in busy L&D units

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit, including management of high-risk OB cases
• Monitor and assess mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages (fetal monitoring, maternal vital signs, neonatal assessments)
• Perform neonatal resuscitation interventions as needed (NRP)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—OB providers, anesthesiology, neonatology—to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergencies according to protocol (ACLS/BLS)
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality care
