Training Pay

$16.50/hour

$18.00/hour (shift differential pay and incentive may apply)

• Assist residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well‑being.
• Help with grooming, bathing, mobility, and other tasks to improve quality of life.
• Communicate changes in residents’ condition, complaints, or issues with staff.

• Professional representation of Palolo Chinese Home.
• Meet attendance requirements and complete attendance sheets.
• Comply with training school requirements and graduate from the program.
• Attend additional training during non‑classroom periods.
• Pursue certification as a Certified Nurse Aide within the timeline.
• Withstand odors and behavioral characteristics of aged residents.
• Work an 8‑hour shift from 2–10:30 pm or 10 pm–6:30 am.
• Stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Push beds, wheelchairs, or recliners with residents weighing over 200 lb.
• Use technology for job duties such as recording resident information, clocking in/out, and computer training.
