Founded in 1921, Straub Benioff Medical Center includes a 159‑bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai‘i. Straub is home to the Pacific Region’s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawaiʻi, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.
The Emergency Room department at Straub Clinic & Hospital includes 13 treatment areas that attend to approximately 60 to 80 patients per day, handling issues ranging from cardiac or surgical care to acute injuries. Patients can go to any emergency room in Hawai‘i, but many choose Straub for its service excellence and longstanding commitment to providing the best quality care. The independent national hospital rating service has rated Straub as #1 in the treatment of stroke, heart attack, angioplasty, heart by‑pass surgery and respiratory infection.
Aboutthe Role
As the Registered Nurse, you will provide professional and compassionate nursing services in Straub’s Emergency Room through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care. You will function as an associate to a charge nurse and, as you gain experience, assume charge nurse responsibilities.

US $ 53.17 - 70.89 per hour
Minimum Qualifications- Current Hawaií Registered Nurse license.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) CPR cards.
- One year recent registered nurse experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Two years recent registered nurse experience in an Emergency Department.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CPR card.
