HII Mission Technologies is in search of an INDOPACOM Senior Program Manager to support the All Domain Operations Group. This position is in Honolulu, Hawaii. The manager will handle multiple Program Managers and personnel as assigned in support of U.S. Government customers and their activities within the Department of Defense. The manager’s responsibilities include achieving business goals and growth targets, developing assigned personnel, serving as the primary point of contact between HII and assigned customers, and directly contributing to the definition and implementation of company strategy.
The successful candidate will be an acknowledged expert in the geopolitical and military operational issues facing maritime domain special operations enterprise and intelligence communities. The candidate will be goal‑oriented, with a history of driving innovation and skillfully working across large organizations to build consensus and support. The ideal candidate is drawn to opportunities and innovation, enjoys teamwork, regards critical thinking and problem‑solving as essential, and has a passion for winning in the Pacific.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Develop and guide initiatives that improve value to customers and create identifiable differentiators competitors.
- Senior‑level leadership ensuring achievement of performance and financial goals for assigned programs/contracts.
- Ensure adequate and timely staffing of all programs/contracts and professional development of all assigned personnel; conduct individual performance assessments and successor planning.
- Maintain close contact with customers PMOs, CORs, and Contracting Officers to make requisite and timely adjustments to programs.
- Coordinate changes in scope or funding with the appropriate HII contract subcontract or finance representative.
- Lead people and programs while developing new business opportunities within DoD in accordance with assigned growth targets; ensure adequate preparation and submission of winning proposals for re‑compete efforts; coordinate Growth/Business Development capture and proposal support as required.
- Advise on corporate strategic and technology investment planning in support of Indo‑Pacific based customers, maritime, and special operations (priority).
- Conduct program management reviews, monthly program variance assessments, and customer satisfaction surveys.
- Work with all functional departments to ensure continued customer satisfaction, compliance with corporate policies and standards, and maintain high ethical standards.
