What you will do:
- The Construction Manager will demonstrate management/leadership abilities including: training, team building, job management, district administration, and effective interaction with customers.
- This position is responsible for providing vision, leadership and direction to installers.
- Set and manage productivity and performance expectations for direct reports.
- Motivate employees; maintain and enhance a positive work environment utilizing management best practices.
- Ensure safety and industry training is current and documented for all techs and that they have all the appropriate information prior to arrival at the job site.
- Maintain schedule of installers and track hours assigned to projects.
- Work in conjunction with the Operations team to complete work as needed.
- Provide accurate project status updates during WIP meetings.
- Conduct regular job site safety walkthroughs and EHS evaluations as well as accident investigations.
- Help interview and/or evaluate employees and apprentices.
- Proficient in developing business strategies, implement action plans to meet and/or exceed corporate goals and objectives.
- Set goals and objectives for subordinates, communicate expectations to employees and periodically review subordinate's performance.
- 5-10 years of management experience dealing with Fire Alarm Installation in commercial industry.
- NICET Certification license 3 or greater.
- Project Management experience.
- Estimating Experience.
- Knowledge of P&L a plus.
- Experience or knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of personal computers to include operating systems.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening, drug test and MVR.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $94,600-$130,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
