Construction Manager

What you will do:

• The Construction Manager will demonstrate management/leadership abilities including: training, team building, job management, district administration, and effective interaction with customers.
• This position is responsible for providing vision, leadership and direction to installers.
• Set and manage productivity and performance expectations for direct reports.
• Motivate employees; maintain and enhance a positive work environment utilizing management best practices.
• Ensure safety and industry training is current and documented for all techs and that they have all the appropriate information prior to arrival at the job site.
• Maintain schedule of installers and track hours assigned to projects.
• Work in conjunction with the Operations team to complete work as needed.
• Provide accurate project status updates during WIP meetings.
• Conduct regular job site safety walkthroughs and EHS evaluations as well as accident investigations.
• Help interview and/or evaluate employees and apprentices.
• Proficient in developing business strategies, implement action plans to meet and/or exceed corporate goals and objectives.
• Set goals and objectives for subordinates, communicate expectations to employees and periodically review subordinate's performance.

• 5-10 years of management experience dealing with Fire Alarm Installation in commercial industry.
• NICET Certification license 3 or greater.
• Project Management experience.
• Estimating Experience.
• Knowledge of P&L a plus.
• Experience or knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of personal computers to include operating systems.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening, drug test and MVR.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $94,600-$130,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
