First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an Assistant Service Supervisor to join our Kapiolani Branch. The Assistant Service Supervisor assists the Service Supervisor and/or Service Manager with overseeing branch operations, managing staff, and ensuring customer service standards and needs are met. This role assists with daily branch functions, such as overseeing workflow, recruitment, and training. The position also provides leadership and support to the branch team and helps management ensure the branch achieves sales performance and service goals.
CompensationThe annual salary range for this role is $43,493 – $60,320 per year, commensurate with experience.
Work ScheduleMonday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (hours may vary).
Required Qualifications- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (required)
- 2 years of experience in branch operations (required)
- 1 year of supervisory experience (e.g., Head Teller or Service Manager Associate) or 1 year of external supervisory experience (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field (preferred)
- Able to plan, organize, and budget
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Able to manage confidential matters judiciously
- Possesses attention to detail with excellent follow‑through
- Able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines and adaptability to unexpected changes
- Excellent time management skills
- Possesses sales skills to enhance business development objectives
- Able to manage customer inquiries and resolve issues
- Proficient in the Microsoft 365 suite of applications
