The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning common areas, maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, and reporting any maintenance issues. Part‑Time Janitorial - Location:
Kaimuki (Honolulu, HI 96816) - Schedule:
6 days, 15 hours weekly, Monday to Saturday, 3 pm–5 pm - Compensation: $17.00 per hour

- Ensure cleanliness of shared areas within the commercial space.
- Perform sweeping, dusting, and emptying trash into designated areas; replace trash bag liners and clean up spills.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and restrooms; wipe down all tables and chairs.
- Stand, bend, walk, lift, and push trash bins as required for the duration of the shift.
- Operate various cleaning machinery (leaf blower, power washing machine, floor stripping and waxing machine, floor scrubber, ride‑on or walk‑behind floor cleaner, trash compactor, baler machine, carpet cleaning equipment) based on the candidate’s location.
- Notify supervisor if any machine, light bulb, or item is malfunctioning.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or property manager.
- Must pass a background check.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous janitorial, custodian, housekeeping, or related experience preferred; willingness to be trained.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English; good public‑relations and communication skills.
- Perform basic manual labor and lift, push, press, pull, and carry a minimum of 15 + pounds; reach overhead; bend, kneel, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, walk up and down stairs; use elevators, ladders, and other required equipment.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and a good understanding of English.
