FUEL Distibution SYSTEM WORKER Security Clearance

Position: FUEL DISTIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will operate pumps and valves to load tank trucks with bulk lube oil, filling to markers or amounts required from verbal or written instructions.
* You will deliver oil to government facilities and ships located at the Fuel Department, deploying hose up to 100 feet and pumping into containers, and/or tanks.
* You will use various fittings and adapters to provide mechanical connections to prevent spills and/or loss of product. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. 1) Proficiency in operating heavy vehicles and specialized fueling equipment.
2) Knowledge of safety procedures for handling dangerous materials.
3) Ability to perform routine maintenance and operator preventive maintenance.
4) Physical capability to handle hoses, fittings, and other equipment. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
