On-call Part-Time Custodian; Waikiki

We are currently looking to hire a part‑time on‑call Custodian position who is a motivated, reliable, and trustworthy individual. The ideal candidate should excel in customer service and have a keen eye for detail to effectively clean and maintain our commercial building(s). While prior experience in janitorial work, housekeeping, or a related field is preferred, we welcome enthusiastic candidates to apply.

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas within the facility
• Perform sweeping, dusting, mopping, emptying of trash to designated area and replacement with trash bag liner, cleaning of escalators and elevators, and cleaning of spills
• Lifting trash from bins, bending, and navigating staircases
• Perform cleaning of the restrooms and restock of supplies
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Effective communication skills and understanding of English
• Cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces that are frequently touched
• Pushing trash bins as needed
• Perform other duties provided by management or property manager

• Must pass a background check
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Previous janitorial, custodian, housekeeping or related experience is preferred, and willingness to train
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Must have good public relations skills and communication
• Applicants must perform basic manual labor, clean common areas, frequently lift, push, press, pull, carry a minimum of 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs), be able to reach overhead, grasp objects, bend, kneel, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, walk up and down stairway, use an elevator, use a ladder, climb up and down and stand throughout their shifts

Part‑Time, Rotating schedule: 6am to 1pm and 1:30pm to 10pm

$16.00 per hour
