Hawaiian Building Maintenance

Pay range: $19.00/hr – $19.00/hr (based on skills and experience)

We are looking for a highly motivated, dependable, trustworthy individual with good customer service skills and detail orientation. Previous janitorial or related experience is helpful and training will be provided.

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas within the building.
• Communicate effectively and possess a good understanding of English.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Clean restrooms and restock necessary supplies.
• Sweep, dust, mop, sanitize, and wipe down interior and exterior floors, glass doors, and mirrors.
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
• Wipe down and sanitize all tables and chairs.
• Collect and dispose of trash in designated receptacles.
• Lift trash from bins, navigate staircases and elevators.
• Perform basic manual labor, lift up to 50 pounds, reach overhead, bend, kneel, crawl, squat, climb, and stand throughout shifts.

• Must pass a background check.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous janitorial, custodian or related experience preferred; willingness to train.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Good public relations and communication skills.

• Tuesday–Saturday: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm or 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
• 40 hours per week.

$19.00 per hour.
