Position:
Cybersecurity Analyst – Technical Security Evaluations (TSE) Specialist

Location:

Pearl Harbor, Hawaii – fully onsite.

• Perform Technical Security Evaluations (TSE) across systems to assess overall security posture and validate compliance with applicable requirements.
• Maintain and update the inventory of all Platform IT (PIT) assets, ensuring accurate records of systems, components, and configurations.
• Conduct security assessments and compliance reviews to verify adherence to DoD cybersecurity standards and identify vulnerabilities.
• Perform vulnerability scanning and risk analysis using approved tools, prioritizing remediation based on risk level.
• Implement and validate security controls such as access management, patching, and configuration baselines across PIT systems.
• Prepare detailed reports of findings, provide actionable recommendations, and support continuous improvement of the PIT security posture.

• DoD 8140.03 (WRC 461) Systems Security Analyst Intermediate Certification (e.g., Security+, Cloud+, CCSP, GICSP, GISF, GSEC) or higher (e.g., CySA+, RCCE Level 1, CISSP‑ISSEP, CISSO, FITSP‑O, GCLD, GCSA, GSNA).
• Demonstrated knowledge of Platform IT systems and cybersecurity principles, including DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST standards.
• Proficiency in vulnerability assessment tools and security control implementation, with the ability to analyze risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with experience in inventory management, compliance documentation, and reporting for IT systems.
• Journeyman: 5 or more years of experience.
• Background investigation required; must maintain a Government‑granted security clearance.
