** The Role*
* The role of an Engineer I is multifaceted, combining engineering, implementation support and field focus to accommodate demands for growth and new services in the most practical, standard and economical manner.

** The Main Responsibilities*
* + Prepare, track and migrate live customer services under a controlled change window with regular requirement for out of hours work.

+ Communicate consistently with stakeholders to manage dependencies, using all available communication methods to receive or provide clarity, and ensure provision of clear updates to relevant tracking systems

+ Update provisioning system records and tracking databases, ensuring high degree of accuracy, within specified timelines.

+ Work moderate to complex projects with cross-functional teams and with limited guidance.

+ Seek or provide guidance as necessary to gain support and develop cross-functional expertise.

+ Stakeholder engagement (internal and external) aimed at risk mitigation and complex problem resolution.

+ Coach team members and provide training at regular intervals on current / upcoming projects.

+ Contribute to process documentation and work instructions in support of new or ongoing activities.

+ Participate in training and meetings as required by supervisor or as needed to perform routine duties.

+ Prepare plans and specifications for new or additions to systems and networks.

+ Develop and define plans for the implementation or modification of existing network to meet new or increased service demands or improve operating efficiencies.

+ Assure that the most feasible, practical and economical means to accomplish an objective is identified and that any alternatives are also defined for management evaluation.

+ Provide cost data to be used in support of the capital/expense budgets for implementation of new and expanded services, technologies, and customer requirements.

+ Develop project support requirements by identifying the scope of effort required by all parties involved and defining the total project requirements, communicating then to all parties and monitoring progress and cost and producing periodic reports.

+ Monitor and control project expenditures (working with project management), preparing or contributing to progress reports, defining problems encountered, and provide recommended solutions to management

** What We Look For in a Candidate*
* + Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience

+ 2 + years of related experience or Master's Degree

** Compensation*
* This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$55,313 - $73,750 in these states: AL  AR  AZ  FL  GA  IA    IN  KS  KY  LA  ME  MO  MS  MT  ND  NE  NM  OH  OK  PA  SC  SD  TN  UT  VT  WI  WV  WY

$58,078 - $77,438 in these states: CO  HI  MI  MN  NC  NH  NV  OR  RI

$60,844 - $81,125 in these states: AK  CA  CT  DC  DE  IL  MA  MD  NJ  NY  TX  VA  WA
