Aloha! One of Hawaii's largest and oldest banks is seeking a Network Analyst Officer to join their IT Infrastructure Department-Network team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, enhancing, maintaining, and monitoring the bank's network. Additionally, develop wireless, LAN, and WAN solutions, and lead enterprise connectivity initiatives that implement new technologies. This role possesses the business acumen to communicate with business stakeholders, and management to translate business needs into solutions while working closely with other IT departments to ensure solutions conform to security and governance standards.
The Network Analyst Officer is also responsible for contributing to the overall strategic vision of the organization and integrating a broad range of ideas regarding Network solutions.
- Fulfill or resolve network request or trouble call and complete required documentation (i.e. trouble ticket, network access request, Service Request, etc.).
- Understand and follow directions and adhere to policies and procedures.
- Lead and coordinate network projects (i.e., firewall, core router/switch, protocols, security, etc.).
- Work with users and vendors to resolve network connectivity or capacity issues.
- Recommend and implement cost reduction solutions and support critical bank network equipment or complex systems.

Work EnvironmentMonday-Friday 8am-5pm (work hours may vary)
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience required.
- 10 years of equivalent work experience in Information Technology field supporting and maintaining infrastructure/applications required.
- 7 years of experience with managing and supporting network systems required.
- Professional certifications in technology from vendors such as Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, and/or related, or equivalent work experience with technology from these vendors preferred.
- Working knowledge in setup and troubleshooting of server hardware and operating systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with demonstrable experience collaborating with technically oriented as well as business audiences.
- Ability to articulate complex technical issues in plain / understandable business language.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work well with end-users.
- Proven successful collaborator among peers, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to create detailed network topology diagrams.
- Able to handle confidential matters judiciously.
- Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy as needed to create quality deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines to completion in a timely manner with quality results.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Familiar with systems administration and data management.
- Familiar with network infrastructure components, including hardware and security tools.
- Knowledgeable of virtualization solutions.
- Knowledge of information security and how it relates to management of infrastructure.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $57.00/hr.
