The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Development/Security Operations Engineer to support our government customer located in Honolulu, Hawai'i.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES- Development Consolidate different data sources into a single view used to assess the status of a specific threat on the network.
- Strong knowledge base of Linux, Zeek, Snort, Wireshark, TCP-Dump.
- Develop Dev Sec Ops type of scripts for optimal data analysis.
- Cyber application modification, and development.
- Basic Bash scripting and performance tuning of various applications.
- Hands on detection engineering and x86 Assembly.
- Tier 1 administration support of logging and ingestion of application data.
- Perform sensor troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Patch and STIG sensors as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- BS in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited (abet.org) or CAE (caecommunity.org) designated institution fulfills the educational requirement for this WRC.
- Must meet at least one of the following baseline certifications in lieu of education (DOD 8140; 632
- Intermediate or Advanced Level Cert): GCLD, GSEC, CSSLP, FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, SSCP
- Knowledge and minimum two (2) years of experience in Applications Programming.
- Technical skills in network penetration testing and management of network assets.
- Experience with Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) periodic inspections.
- Experience with Army Cyber Security (CS) guidance and regulations.
- Must meet DoD 8140 System Developer (632)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Minimum active Secret clearance; (must be TS eligible based on investigation type (T5)).
