The hiring range for the Lead Functional Analyst - HCM Payroll [Req ] position is $87,400.00 to $.
- JOB FUNCTION:
Provides corporate-wide support for implementation and optimization of policies, programs, projects and procedures for SAP functional areas and processes. - Primary: ECC Payroll
- Secondary: ECC Time Management (TIME/CATS/FIORI), ECC Benefits, Success Factors (Employee Central, Recruitment, Learning Management, Compensation, Goals and Performance Management, Onboarding, Succession Planning)
- Performs configuration to support solutions and processes utilizing SAP ECC, primarily in HR modules with focused experience in Payroll. Knowledge of SAP S/4
Hana or upgrading to S/4
Hana is preferred. Responsible for resolving functional, configuration, and data errors, providing Level 2 functional and technical support, developing functional and technical documentation and specifications, creating business process definitions, and coordinating development with technical teams. Works with business users across the Company and with other Lead Functional Analysts to design, implement and enhance work products and processes. Experience with other ERP systems is also relevant. - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Coordinate and facilitate corporate-wide efforts to maximize the consistent application of SAP policies, programs, projects and procedures; define and lead
SAP solutioning efforts from user requirements through implementation; define and implement KPIs; establish process/workflow improvement priorities; participate in process design activities and workshops; review/approve business processes for SAP alignment; evaluate changes and determine system impacts; approve or reject system changes; act as change agent for business process adoption and improvement; plan business process and functional application solutions; create/modify business process definitions and functional specifications;
assist in defining/validating business requirements and gaps; maintain system solution design and testing documentation; develop scripts and test data for SAP processes and testing; facilitate functional workshops; liaise with business analysts for changes; provide user training; maintain FAQs; provide training on changes; monitor SAP operations and data consistency across SAP and ancillary systems; resolve data process errors; assist technical teams in explaining business processes;
escalate risks or issues; program, test, troubleshoot, document, and implement SAP information systems; evaluate software options; provide Level 2 support; investigate functional problems; provide functional advice and solutions; scope and estimate changes; plan functional impact assessments; coordinate OSS Notes application; support technical teams (middleware, reporting); review/coordinate modifications and fixes to SAP; ensure security profiles and access controls; test SAP modifications;
create functional/business test cases; manage full test cycles including go-live; report on test progress; drive test case creation; qualify and certify testing of changes; assist stakeholders with reports and documentation; provide security administration support as needed; on-call responsibilities; participate in emergency response activities as assigned.
- BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of SAP modules; SAP Interactive-web and support task functions; security administration, risk and compliance for SAP; database management concepts; degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or similar or equivalent experience; working knowledge of PCs, web-based programs, and reporting tools; working knowledge of SAP policies, security access, table structures, standard reports; knowledge of related systems and general IT/enterprise tech principles; ability to document and execute test plans;
ability to comply with configuration standards; ability to manage task status in tracking tools; familiarity with utility business principles;
Unix, client-server/multi-tier, and mobile tech awareness; strong documentation and communication skills; ability to convey complex concepts to various audiences. - Skills and Experience Requirements:
