Governance Analyst

TEKsystems is hiring for an IT Governance Analyst role. They will operate as a project governance expert and ensure project managers are adhering to the standard project lifecycle. Please see additional details below.

• Actively engage with project managers to monitor project artifact delivery
• Monitor project schedule for data quality and overall project health; engage with project managers to ensure schedule dates are accurate
• Analyze situations, identify existing, or potential problems and recommend solutions to resolve complex problems.
• Apply practical knowledge of application of project management standards and practices to support project implementation

• Function as a Project Governance SME and ensure adherence to standard Project Lifecycle
• Engage with project managers to identify and mitigate risks in a timely manner to ensure project compliance.
• Interact with Project Managers from multiple departments to track project progress, identify risks, communicate risks and status, and assess potential impacts to the audit readiness.
• Develop and deliver process training in a group or individual setting

• Develop, maintain and communicate Knowledgebase Articles (KBAs)
• Proactively identify gaps or conflicts in existing processes and work to develop solutions.
• Provide Business Process Analysis support to identify, simplify, and reengineer complex operational issues.
• Develop, prepare, and update procedures, user manuals, and training materials.

• Promotes an understanding of roles, processes and activities within the IS Department and to the business units.
• Develops training courses and material on Governance processes and policies.
• Understanding concepts of business processes, industry practices, and technology with a focus in the area of IT Governance.
• Manage end-user training and communications.
• IT Audit Support.
• Supply audit evidence and support the audit functions including controls, policy, process, and procedures creation and testing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Honolulu, HI.
