HII is seeking Interns to take part in our growing Workforce Development Program! We are looking for driven and goal-oriented individuals who are interested in breaking into the defense industry.

Through this program, HII will offer you the opportunity to learn from subject matter experts within the technology and intelligence fields, and exposure to the world of private government contracting.

Our experts will provide mentorship to ensure interns complete our program with the confidence to accurately apply and perform the skills learned in this internship throughout their future careers. This internship not only provides interns the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional environment but also allows them a look at what HII and the defense industry can offer. The 2026 Internship Program will take place for 8 weeks (6/1/2026 through 7/24/2026) in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Step into the world of intelligence and make a real impact supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) in the Indo-Pacific region. Over 8 exciting weeks- you'll dive into expert-led briefings and sharpen essential skills, to tackle AI/ML problem sets of the Indo-Pacific. The experience culminates in a dynamic capstone project where you and your team will apply everything you've learned.
