Talent Acquisition Specialist

Overview

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Human Resources team. The role supports Talent Acquisition Recruiters in creatively recruiting and selecting personnel from internal and external sources to fill professional non-exempt (staff) vacancies. The position also provides Human Resources consultation to managers on staffing needs and general HR information as appropriate.

The annual pay range for this role is $43,000 - $53,000 per year; commensurate with experience.

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; hours may vary.

• Associate’s degree in business, related field and/or equivalent experience required;
  Bachelor’s degree in human resources management preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience in a business environment; experience in human resources a plus
• Experience in Human Resources or customer relations environment
• Able to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced business environment
• Good written and oral communication skills to interact with external and internal customers including staff, management, vendors and corporate customers
• Able to work with strict deadlines managing multiple tasks simultaneously with interruptions
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information
• Strong organizational skills and time management
• Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite; experience with applicant tracking systems a plus
