Hyatt Regency Waikiki is searching for a Second Cook to join the culinary team. This role will require a basic understanding of the kitchen operation within the hotel. Responsible for producing a consistent, quality product that exceeds the guest needs in a timely manner. This colleague will have basic skills in department training and is capable of assuming department responsibilities. Skills and knowledge including culinary education, basic cost control understanding, basic communication, leadership skills and computer skills are desired for this role.

Job Description:

SECOND COOK: Prepares, seasons and cooks hot sauces, soups and stocks, broth, stews, braised, sautéed and roasted meats, fish and poultry. etc. Substitutes or relieves Cooks assigned to junior stations as necessary. May assist in the supervision and/or training of all other Cooks; and in the absence of the Working Chef or the Executive Chef, may supervise other Cooks.

The hourly range for this position is $31.44 - $39.30/HR
