Hyatt Regency Waikiki is searching for a Second Cook to join the culinary team. This role requires a basic understanding of the kitchen operation within the hotel and is responsible for producing a consistent, quality product that meets guest needs in a timely manner. The role includes basic department training and the ability to assume department responsibilities. Skills and knowledge including culinary education, basic cost control understanding, basic communication, leadership skills and computer skills are desired for this role.

Our hotel is a 1230-room property steps from the azure waters and soft sands of Waikiki Beach. Hyatt Regency Waikiki is directly across from the world-famous Duke Kahanamoku Statue, near Diamond Head Crater, and centrally located in a dynamic city center. SECOND COOK:
Prepares, seasons and cooks hot sauces, soups and stocks, broth, stews, braised, sautéed and roasted meats, fish and poultry. Substitutes or relieves Cooks assigned to junior stations as necessary. May assist in the supervision and/or training of all other Cooks; and in the absence of the Working Chef or the Executive Chef, may supervise other Cooks.

The hourly range for this position is $31.44 - $39.30/HR.
