Come home to Aloha! Providing personalized skilled nursing, intermediate, long term, respite and hospice care in a warm, plantation-style atmosphere.

Performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the Dietary Department involving cleaning, dishwashing, setting meal tray, and performance of food preparation, portioning and assembling cold foods.

• Washes dishes, pots, pans, refrigerator and other standard dietary cooking, transporting and storage of equipment.
• Sets trays for resident meals and assists nursing staff in distributing meals and preparing nourishment for residents.
• Assists the cooks in preparing salads for serving.
• Portions desserts and salads for service to the residents.
• Cleans equipment, worktables, carts, and storage units after delivery of food items and kitchen goods. Organizes food stocks in the storeroom, freezer and refrigerator after delivery.
• Ensures the observance of sanitary handling of all dishes, equipment and food in the performance of duties.
• Upholds the values of Hale HO Aloha ensuring that the mission and vision of the company are understood and accomplished with consistency.

• Completed Job Application Required
• Physical exam (within 1 year)
• 2 Step TB, Followed by 1 Step TB (within 1 year)
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and writing instructions.
• Six (6) months dietary experience preferred. Knowledge and ability in handling dietary equipment and basic food preparation skills desirable.
