Salary:$6,535 to 7,952 per month (SR-26, Step D to I)

Duties SummaryThe Comprehensive Health Planning Coordinator assists with comprehensive health planning activities by coordinating work between counties and/or committees and councils related to various health services; provides staff services to committees, task forces and councils; and performs other related duties as assigned.
This class involves responsibilities for assisting in the development, promotion and coordination of the State's Comprehensive Health Plan. The work is performed in accordance with the guidelines, policies and procedures of the Comprehensive Health Planning Office.
To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Legal Authorization to Work : The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
- Basic Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. - General
Experience:
Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative, professional, technical, analytical or other comparable work experience which demonstrates possession of the ability to plan and coordinate activities, projects, or programs. - Specialized
Experience:
Two (2) years of progressively responsible professional or technical liaison work experience which included the responsibility for such functions as planning, organizing, promoting, and coordinating program activities of health service-oriented agencies and/or inter-disciplinary groups providing health or health-related services in the community. - Substitutions Allowed: Relevant substitutions as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements will apply.
