Position: Part‑time, Resident Support Specialist
Location: Honolulu

The Resident Support Specialist plays a key role in maintaining a safe, structured, and respectful residential environment for women participating in a housing and support program. This position supports daily facility operations by monitoring resident activity, enforcing program guidelines, and responding appropriately to safety, health, or behavioral concerns. The ideal candidate is compassionate yet firm, able to remain composed in challenging situations, and committed to supporting residents while upholding clear boundaries and accountability.

- Maintain a safe, secure, and orderly residential environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- Monitor resident activity, facility access, and compliance with program guidelines
- Conduct resident counts, walkthroughs, and safety checks
- Respond to, document, and report incidents, concerns, and behavior changes
- Perform basic administrative tasks including phone coverage, data entry, and recordkeeping
- Support accountability processes such as property control, testing procedures, and meal service documentation
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, case management, and medical teams
- Participate in emergency drills, evacuations, and approved resident transportation
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and complete other assigned duties

Job Requirements:- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Experience in social services, a plus
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective in high‑stress or emergency situations
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to set and maintain appropriate boundaries
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency and administrative capability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
